The Premier's Spelling Bee will be going ahead this year, albeit in altered format. We missed you all last year and many teachers have remarked that some of their students missed the Bee as well.
We hope to launch the wordlists earlier this year and all schools who were enrolled in 2018-2019 will receive notification once entries and wordlists are “live”.
Dates have not yet been confirmed, but we are aiming for a term 1 launch, virtual regional finals in early September and state finals, either live or virtual, in early November.
This year’s regional finals will be held using video connections, something we have all had practice with in 2020. Schools will be able to enter one senior and one junior speller in regional finals.
