This semester at Yandelora School, students have been exploring the work of Australian landscape artists and learning about the methods and materials used to create their artworks.

The students’ artworks are inspired by the artist Peter Coad and his amazingly bold interpretations of the Australian landscape.

A painted landscape with a blue river, orange dirt and green grass in the foreground and a large orange mountain range in the background, all under a light blue sky.

What did the students and teachers have to say?

  • 'The students have created such a beautiful interpretation of Peter Coad's artworks. The bright and bold colours brighten our room.' – Danielle (teacher)
  • 'I love the colours!' – Starsie (student, Year 10)
