Artist Led Workshops For Teachers

Practical workshops connecting teachers with leading contemporary artists.  Each workshop expands on the teacher’s artmaking skills and knowledge of contemporary artist practice. Teachers will work with a visiting artist in the artist's area of expertise as they develop their own artworks throughout the day. Workshops are from 9am - 3pm Bookings through MyPL.Workshops are institute accredited  Book through MyPL and are supported by S&S Wholesale.

Watercolour Painting with Cherry Hood

Hood was the winner of the 2002 Archibald Prize, the most prestigious painting award in Australia, with her portrait of the young pianist Simon Tedeschi. Hood was one of seven female winners in the long history of the cherry hoodaward. Hood had been a finalist the year before with her very first entry in the Archibald Prize.

BACK by popular demand! This full day workshop connects teachers with a leading contemporary artist, aims to broaden knowledge and expand artmaking skills. CHERRY HOOD will lead you through a day of watercolour painting suitable for both beginner and advanced skills, and primary or secondary teachers.

Teachers will develop skills and techniques that can be implemented into the classroom.

Full day workshop $231 + GST (non Government Schools $341 + GST) Fee includes all materials and lunch.

A new workshop format to inspire your students ...we can bring a visual arts, full day workshop to your school.
Please contact us to plan a workshop for your school.

All workshops address current syllabus outcomes and students will have the opportunity to work with a practicing visual artist and develop their skills and confidence in the artist's areas of expertise. These workshops are supported by S&S Wholesale
Tutors: Mural workshops are led by contemporary visual artists and art teachers. Artists currently available include; Claire Nakazawa, Mie Nakazawa, Joel Rapaport and Lotte Smith.

 Mural in a Day: Street Art Workshop
 Professional contemporary street artists guide students in  creating a wall mural  in your school. This workshop is available  during school terms.

 Be quick to nominate a workshop date as our artists are busy and  this workshop  is very popular.

 Costs : $2000.00 +GST  per day includes all visual arts  materials and artist  fees. Outside Sydney incur additional  expenses. (Please Note: 7 days cancellation notice is required to avoid 100% cancelation fee)

 Sketch the Rap: Street art and beat making workshop

 Students work with two different artists developing art skills  through beat making and rap rhymes.

Be quick to nominate a workshop date as our artists are busy and this workshop is very popular.

Costs : $3000.00 +GST  per day includes all visual arts materials and artist fees. Outside Sydney incur additional expenses.
