State Choir

The State Choir program provides an opportunity for 80 dedicated and talented choristers from across New South Wales to sing challenging repertoire with some of Australia’s leading choral directors. The choir is open to all government school students Years 8-12 and are a combination of male and female voices. No audition is required.

Music is sent to students to prepare before the first rehearsal. The choir meets to rehearse in Sydney before performing on the stage of the Sydney Town Hall as part of the Festival of Choral Music.
