Mid North Coast Junior Dance Ensemble

The Mid North Coast Junior Dance Ensemble program aims to foster the development of talented dance students from Year 5 to Year 8 in dance from public schools within the Coffs Harbour, Clarence and Grafton area. 

Students train and rehearse dance works across 2 intensive workshops held in Coffs Harbour. We are thrilled to announce that in 2024 the Mid North Coast Junior Dance Ensemble will be led by Molly Dutton. 

Molly Dutton is a talented, respected and passionate dance teacher who trained at the Australian College of Physical Education. She has been instrumental creating the Mid North Coast Dance Ensemble and is part of the Mid North Coast Dance Festival team. Molly has choreographed dance groups for local performance opportunities as well as successfully auditioning groups to perform at State Dance Festival.

This ensemble is aimed at talented dance students who display a high level of technical skill and performance quality and wish to be involved in the choreographic process to create, learn and perform one contemporary dance work at the Mid North Coast Dance Festival.

The ensemble performs at the Mid North Coast Dance Festival in July and will audition to perform at State Dance Festival in Sydney.
