How it Happens
All submitted works will be professionally framed and exhibited at the Armory Gallery Sydney Olympic Park opening event in September.
Students, families, principals and teachers will be invited to attend the official opening.
50 works will be selected to become part of the permanent art collection of The Children's Hospital at Westmead. These selected works will also be exhibited at the Art Gallery of NSW and tour regional art galleries across NSW the following year.
Additional works will also be selected for Operation Art Bank. These will be presented to the children's ward of a country hospital. Other works will also be selected to hang in the offices of The NSW Office of the Children's Guardian, The Royal Commission and at regional Department of Education offices. All of these works will later become part of Operation Art Bank for presentation to country hospitals.
All students will be awarded special congratulatory certificates.
In Term 4, all framed artworks not selected for a category will be returned to the student’s School.
Schools and Parents are invited to purchase a framed high quality colour copy of the students artwork.
