Student Dance Workshops

The Arts Unit offers a range of workshops for NSW public school students.The program aims to develop students’ technical and artistic talents in dance and provide opportunities to develop a high level of skills in this art form. At these workshops students study a variety of dance styles, guided by professional tutors and specialist dance teachers.

Composition workshop - Romeo and Juliet Reimagined!

This composition workshop offers Year 9-12 dance students the opportunity to work with industry choreographer/educators, student composers and Paul Rissmann, animateur with the London Symphony Orchestra. The workshop will culminate in a performance of the group's composition, with live music, at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Contemporary Dance Workshops 

Contemporary Dance Workshops offer an intensive opportunity for dancers from Years K-12 to learn their craft and to develop their skills.
