About The Show

2020 Schools Spectacular Update

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the 2020 Schools Spectacular is cancelled.

Over the past few months, we have been planning and exploring a variety of remote scenarios for the audition and creation process. Despite this, the uncertainty created by the spread of COVID-19 and the subsequent restrictions put in place means that we are unable to continue. This was a difficult decision.

We recognise the pressures that schools are currently experiencing and supporting them is our highest priority.

After 36 consecutive years this is difficult to come to terms with, but the health and wellbeing of everyone involved is paramount and this was at the heart of our decision.

Thank you to those who have applied for the 2020 show. Should further performance opportunities arise later in the year, we will contact you with more information.

Thank you for your ongoing support of the Schools Spectacular and for your understanding.

We wish you all the best,
The Spec Team.
