Schools Remember ANZAC Commemoration Service

ANZAC Ceremony 2014

On Wednesday 5 April at 11.30am, students from The Arts Unit’s music ensembles and public speaking program will support the 2017 RSL & Schools Remember ANZAC Commemoration Service at Hyde Park. The NSW Public Schools Symphonic Wind Orchestra and the NSW Public Schools Junior Singers will provide the musical support for the service.

The service is always a stirring occasion and we are proud to be a part of this significant reflection of Australia’s history. With pieces like Always Remember, Abide With Me, The Recessional and the National Anthem, the music component is a fitting tribute to the ANZAC spirit. With our student host and student bugler from NSW public schools also leading proceedings it will be an honourable occasion and a quality program.

General public are welcome to attend.

WEATHER

The service will proceed in the event of mild weather disruptions. If the weather is extreme, information on whether the event will proceed will be poster here on the morning of the event for the sake of students involved in The Arts Unit’s ensembles and their parents, teachers, relatives and friends.
