Story Structure and Devising Workshop for Years 3 to 4

Stories can move people to tears or have us rolling on the floor in fits of laughter. They can have us holding onto the edge of our seats or give us the courage of a superhero. Spend a morning or an afternoon discovering all the elements of story-telling technique, and explore characterisation and stagecraft in a safe and fun environment. This workshop will focus on ensemble-building skills, encourage students to expand their creative thinking, put forward their own ideas and culminate in a showing at the end of the lesson.

Theatre Makers Workshop for Years 5 to 6

Leave your inhibitions at the door, have fun, make mistakes and get ready to create a piece of theatre in just a day. Let one of ATYP’s most experienced tutors and directors guide you through skills such as ensemble work, devising techniques and acting skills and create a thrilling piece of theatre to share at the end of the day.

More information to come about ATYP workshops in 2024.
