Kindergarten to Year 12 students and teachers

Local and inclusive programs, digital resources, performances and event streaming provide equity and access to dance opportunities. Weekly ensembles, workshops, inclusive opportunities, performances and industry partnerships, foster skills, knowledge and understanding for students and teachers in dance. Teacher professional development, both live and online, provides support to deliver high-quality arts experiences for students.

Dance Ensembles 2022 - students   

For further information and to apply for any of the following NSW public schools dance ensembles complete the online application form.

  • Primary Ensembles (Years 4 to 6) – weekly based 
  • Junior Ensembles (Years 7 to 9) – weekly based
  • Senior Ensembles (Years 10 to 12) – weekly based
  • Workshop based ensembles (Year 7 to 12)

Applications close Monday 6 December 2021.

For further information and to apply to be a dance tutor for ensembles and workshops for 2022 complete the online dance tutor ensembles/workshops form.

New creative resource

No Standing Still

To celebrate the year that was, The Arts Unit are proud to launch 'No Standing Still', a rich collection of resources that celebrate the exploration of dance. They are designed to support teachers and students on their exciting dance journey from Kindergarten to Year 12.

Watch performances and dance films, learn vibrant, new and practical techniques in teaching contemporary dance, and challenge your creative spirit by delving into the teacher resources that will support and inspire you to create new and exciting works of dance.
