This work utilises the digital and physical space incorporating techniques from Rudolf Von Laban, blended with Haiku poetry of the student's interpretation of yellow. The digital space is challenging for movement performers as although they perform in a 3D world, it is viewed as 2D. The students used the Laban techniques to break the directions/movement disciplines of the clash of the 2 spaces.

The senior ensemble used range of physical theatre and playbuilding techniques incorporated in a linear narrative that explored the various stages of human experience. Students contributed ideas and shared their new skills to develop and refine the performance.

An adaptation of a picture book about what it takes to create a story.

Drama students who never get the main role of a play are disappointed to learn that they, once again, are not the lead part. Frustrated by their lack of stardom, it's time to rise up and revolt against the teachers who never choose them.

But the real question is, who will lead them in this revolution?

On Patrol explores all the fun in the sun action that comes from a day at the beach! Using the art of mime join Jordan Springs Public School Kindergarten students as they showcase all the wonder and adventure the beach has to offer. But keep your eyes open, because when you hit the waves you never know what you might find! Established in 2020 Jordan Springs PS makes its performing arts debut with their Kindergarten Drama Ensemble. The ensemble is made up of the top 17 kindergarten students from four different classes. They've only performed live for Lights Up festival.

Exploring the physical theatre methods of Jacques Lecoq and famous mime artists such as Marcel Marceau and Charlie Chaplin provided students with the visualisation and techniques suitable for a mime performance. Students created a plot inspired by the game 'Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?' working collaboratively to create an ensemble performance for the stage re-named 'Santa Maria'. Then using music to enhance the atmosphere, students choreographed and considered theatrical design elements such as costuming, make-up and props to bring this story to life in the theatrical style of mime.

This playbulit piece is a lively exploration of the power of stories and imagination to create, explore, discover and unite.
