Regional finals can be held in school halls, libraries or double rooms. On average regional finals allow for 60-80 children plus families and teachers to a total of 100-120 pax. They begin at 9.30am and run until approx. 2.30pm. Relief payment of $442 is offered for the coordinating teacher. The Arts Unit will supply all wordlists and scoresheets as well as an announcer (and scorer where possible). A modest catering allowance of $108 is also offered to school to provide cut lunch to visiting announcer/scorer and morning/afternoon snacks for students (juice and biscuits, for example). Is your school prepared to host a regional final?
