The following opportunities are available to teachers in public schools. Accreditation with NESA is available for most courses/workshops. Registration is available through MyPL.

Applications to be involved as a conductor or tutor for the NSW Public Schools Instrumental & Vocal ensembles are now closed.

 

The Idea of North Professional Development Days

The Arts Unit is continuing to present professional learning for teachers of choirs and vocal ensembles with the highly acclaimed vocal ensemble The Idea of North. 

 

State Music Camp

Professional learning for music teachers is available through attendance at the NSW State Music Camp. Teachers wanting to enhance their music teaching skills will benefit from tuition from professional musicians and staff from The Arts Unit.

Staff applications for the 2019 State Music Camps will open in Term 1, 2019.

Teacher Development Opportunity - Schools Spectacular 

Teachers who are interested in being a part of the team that brings the musical aspect of the Schools Spectacular to life are encouraged to apply for a position on the Music team.

Music: Count Us In 2018 PD - Workshop and Webinar

On Tuesday 4 September, The Arts Unit and Music: Count Us In will present a free, 2-hour workshop (or webinar, for those unable to attend in person) for NSW teachers wanting more music in the classroom, and to learn tips and tricks on how to teach the 2018 song "One Song".
