Arts Alive Visual Arts Workshops provide an opportunity for public school students in Years 5 and 6 to be involved in a engaging, challenging and stimulating visual arts program. Tuition is provided to students by both professional artists and school teachers with specialised skills. 

Workshops focus on developing knowledge, understanding and skills in the making of artworks and the exploration of a variety of media, techniques and tools including painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture and printmaking. Schools are invited to nominate students who demonstrate a high level of skill and interest in the visual arts.

  • Wednesday 6 April and Thursday 7 April 2022 
    (Term 1 Week 11) – Penrith Regional Gallery (TBC)
  • Wednesday 29 June and Thursday 30 June 2022 
    (Term 2 Week 10) – Avalon Recreation Centre
  • Wednesday 21 September and Thursday 22 September 2022 
    (Term 3 Week 10) – Gosford Regional Gallery
