These half day workshops are designed to give students with disability the opportunity to explore dance and reach new physical limits whilst engaging with teachers and students from other schools.
Teachers are able to choose whether to bring a group or individual students with them to the workshop. Junior workshops best suit students aged 10-13 years old; senior workshops best suit students aged 14-18 years old.
Watch the video below for more information about the student workshops!
The D'Arts Inclusive Dance Workshops are expected to run in Term 3, 2021. Register here if you would like to be notified when workshop dates and locations are announced and applications are open.
Generally, the junior workshop will be a half day morning session from 9:45-11:45 am. The senior workshop will be a half day afternoon session from 12:15-2:15 pm.
Students will participate in a fun warm up and two dance sessions as part of the workshop. Teachers and support staff are encouraged to join in with the fun! The activities you complete as part of the workshop can be used back at school for lessons or performance.
