FRASER CORFIELD: You take a group of young writers aged between 18 and 26 to a national studio, and they spend a week with leading writers.

JANE SIMMONS: That we were going to perform in May of 2020. And then, of course, we hit COVID-19. And theatre spaces, and all of our programs, were essentially either suspended or cancelled.

JEREMY JENKINS: So, we've ended up with all of these short films being produced instead of the big play.

LEIGH RICHARDS: We're working on 4 scripts. And, we've tried to approach each of them in a slightly different way.

JACK ANDREW: I won't lie - since it's a very to-the-audience piece - I had no idea how they were going to do it. In fact, I woke up this morning with no idea how they were going to do it.

MILA KIME: I love the behind the scenes of it all. I love watching how they set up the cameras, and watching how they do the audio, and how they have to shoot every single shot in so many different ways.

JEAN HINCHLITTLE: When you're performing in theatre, you're performing for the person in the very back row of the audience. Whereas filming is a much more intimate experience.

DIYA GOSWAMI: This whole process has been really fun. And, I've been learning a lot, and also meeting some really great people.

JACK ANDREW: I just can't wait to show it to, like, everyone, and show my family. Like, it's a project that I have.
